Tara Quinn-Smith, Toronto, ON. She is coming off her new Canadian Half Marathon win & record of 1:12:08 in April.
She is a member of the Brooks Canada Marathon Project based in Toronto, ON. Tara has a personal best of 15:58 for 5K and is expected to threaten the course record of 16:29.7. She has qualified for World Marathon Championships this August in Berlin.
She placed 6th - first Canadian - in the recent MDS Nordion 10K in 33:38.3.

Emily Tallen - Kingston, ON. Emily was third in the 2007 Emilie's Run in 16:55.2 and placed second in 2006. She is a member of the Physi-Kult track club and is coached by top Canadian Masters runner Steve Boyd. Emily attended Providence University In Rhode Island from 1999 to 2003 where she competed in track and cross country.
Emiliy is coming off a 26:35 5K in the Kingston Beat Beathoven race. In April she ran 16:44 in the Limestone 5K in Kingston.

Leslie Sanderson - Ottawa, ON. Leslie is a member of Zone 3 Sports of Ottawa. She ran 18:12 in last year's Emilie's Run placing fourth Master (40-44).
In this year's Ottawa Half-Marathon she ran 1:26:39. Leslie is on the area's top triathletes and she completed the Ford Ironman World Championship last year in 10:47:04 placing 9th in her age-group.

Isabelle LeDroit, Montreal, QC. Isabelle is a member of Les Vainqueurs. Her PB for 5K is 16:24, run in 2000. Her recent best is 17:15 run at the Endurance 5K in Dollard des Ormeaux, QC last August. Last year she also ran 35:40 for 10k, 1:19:13 for the Half-Marathon and at the California International Marathon she ran 2:46:32.
She has represented Canada internationally at the Yokohama Ekiden relay in Japan and at the IAAF World Marathon Championships in Edmonton, AB.
8 times selected Road Runner of the year by the Quebec Track and Field Federation (last time in 2008)

Daniele Riendeau, Ottawa, ON. Dani has a PB of 17:14 in the 5K. She spend 5 years in the US on a track scholarship and joined the OAC Racing Team last summer. She placed 3rd in Army Half-Marathon in Ottawa last September in 1:23:43.9.
This year she won the Winterman 5K and St. Patrick's Day 5K. She ran in the 38's in the MDS Nordion 10K but lost her timing chip and was DQed.

Dana Buchanan, Ottawa, ON. Dana has run the 3000m Steeplechase this season in 10:25 and recently ran a PB 4:21 for the 1500m.
She ran 17:27 placing second in the Army 5K in Ottawa last September.
She is a member of the Ottawa Lions.

Paula Wiltse, Brockville, ON. Paula was second - and first Masters(40-44) - in last year's race in a new Canadian record of 17:02.0. This time was a new Persoanl Best for Paula.
She won the HBC Run for Canada 10K in 35:42.5. She also won the Marathon Oasis de Montreal 1/2 Marathon in 1:20:11.3 and was 4th (first Master) in the Niagara Falls International Marathon Half-Marathon in 1:18:22.8.
Paula was 2nd in the 2009 Harry's Spring Run-Off in Toronto in 29:59.3. She placed 4th female and 1st Masters in the Sporting LIfe 10k in Toronto in 35:09.8.
She ran 17:59.4 in Freihofer's 5K on May 30th placing 34th overall and 3rd in the Masters 40-44 divison.

Amy Schneeberg - Kingston, ON. Amy was sixth in Emilie's Run in 2007 in 17:38. She placed 6th at the 2009 Sporting LIfe 10K in Toronto in 36:54.
Amy ran 38:37.8 in the MDS Nordion 10K in Ottawa.

Liz Maguire - Osgoode, ON. Liz was 6th overall and 3rd Master (40-44) in last year's Emilie's Run in 18:08.6. She is a member of the Ottawa Athletic Club Racing Team. She has a personal best time of 17:33 for 5K set in 2006.
Liz was the Ottawa Marathoner of the Year in 2008 for the third year in a row. This year she was the second woman and first Master(40-44) in the Hamilton Around the Bay Road Race in 2:00:17.

Sarah Dillabaugh - Greely, ON. Sharah was third in the 2006 Emilie's Run (RunnersWeb 5K Race for Women) in a time of 17:00.1 She is a member of the Ottawa Lions Track Club. She has a personal best time of 15:34.33 for 5K.
Sarah is returning to competitive racing after two years of injuries.
