Athletics: Triathlete Jill Savege to Run the Vancouver Sun Run 10K

Canadian Olympic triathlete and top medal hopeful, Jill Savege, will compete in the Vancouver Sun Run on Sunday, April 18.

Following the race, Jill will attend the wrap party in BC Place Stadium where run participants and members of the public can meet Jill and have photos taken at the So Good soy beverages booth.

Jill Savege, Canadian Olympic Triathlete Ranked 5th in the world, Jill is Canada's top triathlete. She is the first Canadian triathlete to earn the right to be nominated to the 2004 Canadian Olympic Team and is a leading medal hope for our country at the Athens Games.

Having finished just 42 seconds out of the gold medal position on the Olympic triathlon course in Athens in 2003, Jill knows what it will take to win at this year's Olympic Games. The Vancouver Sun Run is an important part of her training program on her quest for Olympic gold.
