Athletics: Richmond Road Races Set for Januray 16th

The National Capital Runners Association will stage the 23rd edition of the Richmond Road Races on Sunday, January 16, 2005 from South Carleton High School in Richmond, Ontario.

Featured are the 5 and 10 kilometre events over a single loop course that begin in the village, around the outskirts and then back to finish at the school.

This year we are partnering with the Ottawa Citizen's "Raise A Reader" programme as a portion of race proceeds with be directed to this initiative, as well as our long time friends, the Richmond Lions Club.

The first 500 to register will receive a Brooks "Cool Tex" long sleeved shirt. Please go to our web site www.ncra-ottawa.com and follow the link to register on line or download a form.

Questions can be directed to Joe Du Vall at jduvall@rogers.com.
