Posted: December 21, 2004 Triathlon: ePerformance Triathlon Camp, February in Arizona: tune up for 2005 PHOENIX, Ariz. (December 15, 2004) Professional triathlete Luc Morin (CAN) and ePerformance High Performance Consultants (www.ePerformance.ca) have launched another training camp, this time set in Tempe, Ariz., February 18 – 20, 2005. The camp is timed to tune triathletes up for the start of the 2005 season. Participants will receive unique, personalized, pre-camp training programs and fitness assessments so ePerformance coaches can tailor camp sessions. Over the three-day camp, they’ll get in-depth swim, bike, run and brick technique training and coaching, seminars on sport nutrition, training plans and fitness testing, and a bike fit session. Lifetime Fitness will be the host site for the intensive training and seminar schedule. “This is a great opportunity for triathletes to break out from the doldrums of indoor, winter training, identify their fitness benchmarks, and learn or re-learn important training principles they may have forgotten during the off-season,” says Morin, head coach and one of Canada’s top long-distance triathletes, who holds a Master’s degree in exercise physiology. “We give campers the knowledge they need to train like the pros and at the same time the understanding and friendly encouragement many age-groupers need from their coaches,” says ePerformance coach Francisca Russli, former pro triathlete and member of the Swiss national cycling team. The February 18-20 camp also includes shipped bike reception and assembly, and costs $395.00 USD for registrants before January 23, 2005. ePerformance’s Arizona triathlon training camp is sponsored by PowerBar, bpStealth, and Tribe Multisport shop in Scottsdale.
