"This event, because of its easy distance of only 6.2 miles and the healthy regional lifestyles that so many follow, creates the potential for the next big 10K running event to come out of the state of Utah and the campus of BYU." After months of work with the Provo Mayor's office, members of the Utah Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, two-time Olympian and BYU Cross Country coach Ed Eyestone and of course Brigham Young University, the major 10K fitness event came together. To assist athletes in reaching their personal goals at the Wasatch Front 10K, Premier Event Management has joined forces with Ed Eyestone. Ed will share his many years of training experience as he provides the Wasatch Front with a special 90 day training schedule tailored to the casual jogger, walker or advanced runner. The 2005 Wasatch Front 10K training schedule will be available in copies of the Daily Herald newspaper and on our website at www.runthefront.com after January 31, 2005.
