To be held on Saturday, July 16th, at 8:00 a.m. (CDT) on a stunning urban course through Minneapolis and St. Paul, the 2005 Life Time Fitness Triathlon offers a combined cash and prize purse valued at $500,000 - the largest in the sport. The event also incorporates an innovative timing structure, which allows more than 40 of the world's elite professional female and male triathletes to battle on equal ground for the top prize - a combined cash and prize purse valued at $200,000. In unique fashion within the sport, the 2005 Life Time Fitness Triathlon will be nationally broadcast the same day on NBC Sports at 2:00 p.m. (CDT). Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. will activate its Presenting Sponsorship by highlighting its capable Toyota 4Runner sport utility vehicle onsite at the Triathlon. Toyota also will have a presence at Life Time Fitness centers and will execute special promotions nationwide.
