Posted: December 28, 2005 Athletics: Chicago Events Open Registration From David Monti © 2005 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com Chicago's two largest running races announced that registration would open on-line on Sunday. The 29th LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon (22-Oct) and the 27th LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8-K (02-Apr) will begin taking applications 01-Jan through their respective websites:
Early registration for the marathon costs USD 90 for U.S. applicants and USD 100 for international athletes. The advertised registration cap is 40,000. For the Shuffle, registration costs $35 and the registration cap is 25,000. Both events start and finish in Grant Park. Comment on this story. |
