Triathlon: Pro Athletes Confirm for Victoria International Half-Iron

Registration Opens this Thursday, January 11th LifeSport Coaching announced today that US Long Course Triathlon Champion, Kim Loeffler, and Ironman Canada Champion, Jasper Blake, have confirmed to race at the inaugural Victoria International Half-Iron Triathlon on May 26th, 2007. Loeffler, who was 8th at the 2005 Hawaii Ironman and the 2004 Ironman USA Champ, stated "I am really excited to race in Victoria; I keep hearing how beautiful it is there, so this race gives me the chance to experience it first hand". The event will be staged with the stunning backdrop of Vancouver Island's Cowichan Valley utilizing spectacular Shawnigan Lake, local parks, and the Trans Canada Trail with dramatic views of the historical Kinsol Trestle Bridge.
