The BUPA Great Manchester Run, a 10 km road race scheduled for Sunday, May 20, in Manchester, England, has sold out all 27,000 starting places in just six days, organizers Nova International announced today. The race is also fast. In 2005, Haile Gebrselassie ran 27:25, the fastest certified road 10-K ever run in Britain. His is one of just seven marks below 28 minutes achieved in Manchester.

No athletes have been announced yet for the race.
