NCAA Indoor Championships Preview
Let's get it started with Division I
The 2007 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place
Friday and Saturday, March 9-10, at the Randall Tyson Track Center at
the University of Arkansas for the eighth consecutive year. The Arkansas
men and the Texas women will look to defend their titles from last year.
Heading into competition on Friday, the Wisconsin men and Arizona State
women top the rankings, according to TrackWire.com. Results can be found

The meet will be covered online on ESPN360. Fans can log on to
ESPN360.com to watch the events. Coverage will begin on Friday, March 9,
and will run from 2:30-9 p.m. and Saturday, March 10 from 4:30-9 p.m.
Highlights of the championships will also be televised on Tuesday, March
13 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The race for Division II glory
The 2007 NCAA Division II Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field National
Championships will be held March 9-10 at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field
Center in Boston. Last year's team champions, St. Augustines' men and
Lincoln's (Mo.) women, will try to hold on to their crowns with strong
opposition coming from the #1 ranked Adam's State men and Grand Valley

Game time for Division III
The 2007 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships March
9-10 are being hosted by the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in
Terre Haute, Ind. The men's championships have been won by the
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse or Lincoln University every year since
1990, with Wisconsin-La Crosse taking the last six championships in
compiling a record setting 13 overall titles. The University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh enters the 2007 championships with three straight team

Even more championships
The 2007 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March
8-10 at the Memorial Center in Johnson City, Tenn. The Lindenwood (Mo.)
men and Missouri Baptist women will defend their 2006 titles. Complete

The 2007 National Scholastic Indoor Championships will be held March
9-11 at the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City. The meet will
feature high school athletes from at least 32 states including World
Junior Team USA members Walter Henning, who will be competing in the
men's weight throw, and Tori Anthony in the women's pole vault. 2006
World Junior 4x100m gold medalists Gabby Mayo and Jeneba Tarmoh will
square off in the women's 60-meter dash, with Mayo also competing in the

The 2007 Nike Indoor Nationals will be held March 10-11 at Prince
George's Sports Complex outside Washington, D.C. Athletes to watch for
include two-time Millrose HS girls 1 mile champion Danielle Tauro,
two-time Nike Outdoor Nationals shot put champion Kamorean Hayes, 2005
World Youth 100m champion Bianca Knight in the 400m, 2006 World Junior
4x400m gold medalist Jessica Beard and hurdle phenom Johnny Dutch. More

A Speed, Endurance & Technique (SET) Summit will be held in conjuction
with the Nike Indoor Nationals on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The
SET Summit is a hands-on clinic and seminar for athletes and coaches
alike.
Elite athletes on hand to help with the summit include 2006 USA Outdoor
& Indoor 1500 meter champion Treniere Clement, 2005 World triple jump
champion Walter Davis, American triple jump record holder Tiombe Hurd,
two-time NCAA 100-meter hurdle champion Ginnie Powell, 2005 World
Outdoor 200m silver medalist Wallace Spearmon, 2004 NCAA Indoor Champion
in the shot put and weight throw Dan Taylor, 2004 Olympic 100m silver
medalist and 2005 World Outdoor champion Lauryn Williams, 2006 NCAA
Indoor & Outdoor high jump champion Jess Williams, and National High
School record holder in the indoor and outdoor mile and 1500m Alan Webb.
2006 IAAF Female Athlete of the Year Sanya Richards will be on hand
Sunday for an autograph session. Admission to the event is free.
