Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites South Carolina’s Best To Race At The Clemson Triathlon On May 12

(St. Paul, MN – 3/21/2007)–– “Best of the US” Management and SetUp Events invite the triathletes of the Palmetto State to race at the 12th annual CLEMSON / BEST OF THE US SOUTH CAROLINA QUALIFIER in Clemson, SC on May 12. South Carolina has many great triathletes. In addition to 2006 representatives John Alvarez and Kimberley Westbury, 2005 representatives Brooks Keys and Michelle Stone (Schoup), here are some of the athletes that we hope to see at this annual sprint course Classic (in alphabetical order): Lindsay Agostini, Elizabeth Anderson, Bryan Benitez-Nelson, Jamie Church, Gregg Cromer, Laura Dechamplain, Tracy Dewitt, Nick Felix, Christopher Giordanelli, Jennie Leiser, Toni Marcella, Tracy McKee, Julie Murphy, Sarah Oliver, Amy Pierson, Radek Parnica, Mark Woody and Zach Stroud. And let’s not forget decorated masters Tom Mather and Patt Loggins. SetUp Events invites these and all the other great athletes of South Carolina to race in Clemson on May 12. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent South Carolina at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, Florida. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes would ensure a competitive presence for South Carolina at the Championship.
