Athletics: Yelling Takes Bath

It was also a career best time for Yelling, 32, last year's Commonwealth Games bronze medalist in the marathon. "I felt really strong," said Yelling in comments posted on her federation's website. "I thought the course record was a realistic target so I just set off – and the crowd support was awesome." Yelling, who broke Andrea Wallace's course record of 1:09:39 set in 1993, will be running the Flora London Marathon on Sunday, April 22.
