Triathlon: Trigger Point Technologies partners with Montana pro Linsey Corbin

Corbin uses Trigger Point therapy tools, finishes eighth at Ford Ironman California 70.3

April 18, 2007– Austin, TX – Trigger Point Technologies, LLC is excited to announce a performance therapy sponsorship with second-year pro triathlete Linsey Corbin. Linsey Corbin uses the Trigger Point therapy tools to treat and prevent injury as well as enhance her biomechanics and overall performance.

“Linsey represents who and what we are. She embodies the lifestyle that we want to promote and enjoys educating others. We are confident that with our injury prevention and performance therapy products, she will have a powerful season this year and our relationship will grow in the future,” commented Cassidy Phillips, founder of Trigger Point.

Linsey Corbin, formerly Linsey Pickell, has made a big impression in her first season as a full-time professional triathlete. In 2006, Corbin raced the prestigious Wildflower triathlon as an age-grouper and not only finished top among the age group women but had she raced pro, would have finished 3rd among the pro field. Corbin’s bike split of 2:36:47 was less than one-minute slower than Natascha Badmann. After Wildflower, Corbin decided to turn pro and went on to win her first race as a pro at the Oliver Half Ironman in Oliver, British Columbia. Corbin continued her success by placing 7th among the pro field at Ironman Coeur D’Alene in June and went on to finish 23rd at the Ironman Hawaii World Championships; despite being hit by an SUV and breaking her collar bone just five-weeks before the race.

“I am so excited to have partnered up with TPT for 2007 and beyond,” said Corbin. “Cassidy and Trigger Point have so much positive energy about triathlon and are moving the sport in the right direction!” Corbin added, “Triathlon is much more than three disciplines... over the past few years I have learned the importance of taking care of your body and muscles. With the signature Quadballer I have been able to alleviate the majority of my IT Band pain and it has become a staple in my training regimen.” “I am really looking forward to working with such an innovative company that is willing to support my triathlon endeavors,” commented Corbin.

Corbin began the 2007 season at the Ford Ironman 70.3 in Oceanside, California. Corbin placed eighth with a time of 4:42:20.
