Triathlon: Bayliss and Comerford in right zone as they move from Florida to Florianopolis for this weekend’s IM Brazil

Britain’s Stephen Bayliss and Bella Comerford are looking forward to building on their success at Triathlon One-O-One’s season opener in Florida at this weekend’s Ironman Brazil in Florianopolis.

Bayliss and Comerford feel in the right ‘zone’ following two weeks intensive training in Arizona.

Bayliss (www.stephenbayliss.net) comments “I have had a great 2 weeks training block in Arizona and feel I am in great shape for a good performance on Sunday, I imagine the race will go similarly to the Florida 101; fast swim after which I may then slip back a bit during the bike, and then I plan to run as fast as I can! I hope this will take me right up in the mix!"

His partner and current ITU world long distance champion Bella Comerford comments (www.bellacomerford.com) “Since racing the Florida 101 race at the beginning of the month, I feel I have recovered well, and even though I did not have my best race there, I feel stronger for it now. I have had 10 good days of training in Phoenix, Arizona. I will really be attacking this Ironman. I think I can do a great job. It is a competitive field, but I feel confident.”

Helping their confidence is Stephen and Bella’s new coordinating custom race kit (manufactured by IMP Sport www.impsport.com ) (See pictures)
