Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Michigan’s Elite To Race At The Waterloo Triathlon On July 15

(St. Paul, MN – 5/31/2007)–– “Best of the US” Management and Elite Endeavors invite the triathletes of the Great Lakes State to race at the WATERLOO TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US MICHIGAN QUALIFIER, a popular race consisting of a half mile swim, 16 mile bike and five mile run that will be contested in Waterloo/Grass Lake, MI on July 15. Michigan has no shortage of tri talent. Some of the elite male triathletes we hope to see on July 15 include Aaron Bachman, Pete Bolen, Ethan Brown, Joe Deighan, Eric Fernando, Jeff Haney, Gary Gurgold, Parker Roth (2005 MI BOUS Representative), Matt Smith, Richard Swor, Matt Wehrman. Matthew West (2006 MI BOUS Representative) and Jody Williford. Top Michigan women we hope to see in Sylvania include Kattie Carpenter, Peggy Hasse, Beth Homan, Megan James, Cheryl Klotkowski, Kerry Miller, Pam Otto, Anne Marie Phillips, Amy Rummel and 50+ phenoms Laura Sophiea, 2006 USAT Master of the Year, and Karen McKeachie. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Michigan at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, FL. Any combination of the abovementioned male and female triathletes would assure a formidable presence for Michigan at the Championship.
