Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Georgia’s Best To Race At The West Point Lake Triathlon On July 22

(St. Paul, MN – 6/11/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Jim Rainey (Georgia Multisports Productions, LLC) invite the triathletes of the Empire State of the South to race at the 4th annual WEST POINT LAKE TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US GEORGIA QUALIFIER, a wonderfully produced Olympic distance race at West Point Lake near LaGrange, GA on July 22.

Georgia is one of America’s most talent-rich tri states. Among the top men that we hope to see at West Point Lake are Bruce Erskine, Andrew Johnston, Christopher Jones, Steven Kester, Richard Klepacz, Nemanja Pavlovic, Dennis Reardon, Steven Reed, Bob Rogan, Jason Schott, Jeremy Sipos, Clayton Tillery and Jason Willis. Some of the top women we hope to see are Kari Bradley, Carrie Brady, Alexandra Classen, Kim Dunker, Catherine Fuss, April Gellatly, Gabby Hauck, Samantha Kenney, Kris Kester, Carey Kilton, Amy Kloner, Jennifer Lesser, Alexandra Lonergan, Kristel Maes (2005 GA BOUS Representative)Lisa Marshall, Katrina Mitchell, Megan Osler, Mary Beth Shaw, Heather Tarpley and Hana Sykorova.

BOUS Management bids a fond goodbye to 2005 and 2006 Georgia representative David Silver (BOUS National Champion in 2006 and 9th in 2005!), who has recently procured a pro license and is thereby ineligible to compete for another BOUS invitation.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Georgia at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, FL. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Empire State of the South a formidable presence at the Championship.

The Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition is produced by Midwest Events, LLC of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
