Multisport: Factor 9 Triathlon Coaching Launches Online

Custom and Interactive Training Programs Taking Triathlete’s to the Next Level

Factor 9 Tri Coaching (F9TC) based in Penticton, BC, Canada officially launches its online coaching programs to athletes across Canada and throughout the United States. Custom programs are written by Coach Scott McMillan on a week to week or month to month basis. Athlete’s can view their training schedule and training log all online. Every Factor 9 athlete also gains access to their unique Interactive Members Site. This online site contains a Library of Articles on training, F9TC updates, Athlete’s Forum, Personal Training Databases, Video Lounge and more.

In addition, to the custom training programs an assortment of camps will be offered in 2008. These camps are designed for athlete’s to train in a fun, educational and supportive training environment. Although final details are not yet confirmed, Factor 9 is looking into a Tour of California Tri Camp in Feb, a bike focused camp throughout the scenic British Columbia Kootenay’s in June and a variety of summer triathlon camps based out of Penticton.

Factor 9 works with a variety of athlete’s from beginners to veterans who want learn how to train effectively or want to take their racing to a new level. You can check out a variety of testimonials from athlete’s that have recently used Scott McMillan as their coach on their website.

Why the name Factor 9 Tri Coaching? There are 9 factors that determine sport performance. The 9th factor is the amount of knowledge an athlete has about all things related to improving performance. At Factor 9 the triathlon coach’s role is to contain that knowledge, use it in their planning and pass it along to the athletes.
