COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (December 17, 2007) -- USA Triathlon has reached an agreement with Ludus
Tours to provide services and support to triathlon fans
traveling to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China
next August.
As the official tour operator and hospitality provider for
USA Triathlon in Beijing, Ludus Tours will offer
discounted service to USAT members and any family
members of the U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team traveling
to Beijing for the Olympic Games.
"Ludus Tours is offering a full service solution to the
myriad challenges of international travel," said Tim
Yount, USAT senior vice president of marketing and
communications. "USAT is pleased to offer Ludus
Tours' professional services to our members to make
their Olympic travel easily manageable."
"We are extremely enthusiastic about the possible
synergies between Ludus Tours and USA Triathlon
leading up the 2008 Beijing Olympics," said Adam
Dailey of Ludus Tours. "With our close connection with
the track and field community, this is a logical next
step for us. Triathletes are true sports fans, and we
think we can offer USAT members some great tour
packages for Beijing and beyond."
Ludus Tours was created by Adam and Jessica
Dailey, who both competed in the 2000 U.S. Track and
Field Olympic Trials. As former elite athletes and with
a passion for both sports and travel, the Daileys
started Ludus with a focus on both the Winter and
Summer Olympics. Known as a true grass roots
hospitality company, Ludus is one of the only
organizations to offer packages for budget-conscious
travelers. Furthermore, Ludus always bases a team
locally a year in advance. They have a staff based in
Beijing, China, to accommodate clients for the
upcoming Olympic Games. They currently have offices
in the USA, Australia and Canada.
