(RRW) Athletics: Note On The News - Watch USA vs. The World On The Web

From David Monti © 2007 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com Today's USA vs. The World - Run For The Dream meeting, the first event of the 2008 USATF Visa Indoor Championship Series, will be boadcast on the web today at the following link: usatf.sportnet.com. The invitational tier of the meet, which will be held at the Save Mart Center at Fresno State University, will begin at 10:00 p.m. EST (7:00 p.m. PST) and will feature the following events: 55 Meters - Women & Men 55 Meter Hurdles - Women & Men 55 Meters - College Women & Men's Invitational 800 Meters - Women 600 Yards - Women & Men 2 Mile Run - National HS Boys Invitational Mile Run - Men 4 x 400 Relay - Women & Men Pole Vault - Women & Men Long Jump - Women & Men Shot Put - Men High Jump - Women National Track & Field Hall of Famers Dwight Stones and Dan O'Brien will be calling the action. The meet will also be available at the same link on demand the following day. Prior to the invitational tier, a four-way university meet will be held between Fresno State, Univ. of Hawaii, Cal Poly, and Cal State Stanislaus.
