HENDERSON, Nev. – March 19, 2008 – Frank Lowery, of
Lowery’s Multisport Races recently announced the City
of Henderson and Christensen International Law will
host the 4th annual Nevada Silverman Triathlon on
Sunday, November 9, 2008. Featuring a 2.4 mile swim
in Lake Mead, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run
that boasts a 2,000 foot elevation gain, the Silverman
Triathlon is the race that will set triathletes apart
from the mainstream.
With more than 500 participants in the 2007 race,
numbers are expected to almost double in 2008. “We
are very excited to announce that the Nevada Silverman
Triathlon will continue in 2008,” said Lowery. “With
the success of the past three years, the 2008 event is
sure to be bigger and better than ever.”
