Beckford’s point total of 5,081 is a personal best and marks the first time she has completed a collegiate heptathlon. She finished eighth in the field of 15.

She opened the two-day event with a time of 15.27 in the 100-meter hurdles. She moved on to clear 4-7.75 in the high jump and mark a shot put of 44-9.5. She ended day one with a 24.97 clocking in the 200 meters. Her shot put and 100-meter hurdles marks are personal bests.
