Each triathlete has to balance his career, his family and his training. With this challenge, triathletes will be able to compete against colleagues, benefit from the professional infrastructures of an Ironman 70.3, participate in the event together with some of the greatest PRO athletes of the discipline, be encouraged by numerous volunteers and spectators and of course grab one of the coveted slots for the Ironman World Championships in Clearwater and Hawaii.
Each year, more and more athletes participate in Ironman races worldwide. All of them are unique, and still most of them find themselves in a balance of work, family and training. With the brand new Business Challenge at the Monaco Ironman 70.3, triathletes have the opportunity to stand the ground against participants not only from their age group but also from the same profession. Medicals, Firefighters, IT Engineers and many more will be able to compete with athletes sharing not only the same passion, but also face comparable challenges in business life.
The categories are: Advocacy legal, Architects, Governmental Services (Army, Firefighters, and Police) Banking & Finance, Instructors & Teachers, Insurance, IT & Technology, Marketing & Sales, Medical and University Students.
The winners of each category will take away the title « Winner of the European Ironman 70.3 Business Challenge» in his category, e.g. “Best Ironman 70.3 Architect”. The winners will be awarded a special trophy at the Awards Ceremony of the European Ironman 70.3 Business Challenge taking place on Awards Night. The Top 3 fittest professional categories will be awarded and will present their strategy to business success on the event website.
