No positive doping tests emerged from last month's World Indoor Championships in Valencia, Spain, the IAAF announced today.
127 tests, including 67 of which were analyzed for the the blood booster EPO, were collected over the three days of competition.
Prior to the championships, the IAAF also collected 80 blood screens as part of its blood screening program. The results of these screens are added to other samples, taken both pre-competition and out-of-competition, to form individual profiles for each athlete. This information, the IAAF says, assists in monitoring and target testing of athletes.
Tests from last month's World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh, Scotland, are still being processed.
