(St. Paul, MN – 4/23/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Dennis Kammersat invite the triathletes of Prairie Rose State to race at the 2nd annual BISMARCK INTERATIONAL TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US NORTH DAKOTA QUALIFIER, a great new Olympic distance race that will be staged in Misty Waters Marina in the Missouri River three miles north of the capitol city on June 8.
Among the elite male and female triathletes we hope to see on June 8 are Robert Gilles, a two-time Honorable Mention USAT Triathlete of the Year, Melanie Carvell, ND’s most decorated multisportswoman, 2006 ND BOUS Representative Tim Clausnitzer and national-class talent Marlina Walth.
The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent North Dakota n at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at the SOMA QUARTERMAN / BEST OF THE US NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in Tempe, Arizona. Any combination of the abovementioned male and female triathletes would assure a strong presence for North Dakota at the Championship.
