Discover the Monaco Ironman 70.3, taste the adventure and compete with friends or colleagues to have fun. The 4th edition of the Formula 1 of Triathlon presents the Relay Challenge offering these opportunities on 7 September 2008.
Competing in the Monaco Ironman 70.3 as a team of three people is the idea for this new challenge. It offers the chance to participate in a triathlon without knowing how to swim! A team consists of three friends, each of them doing one discipline: 1.9km SWIM, 90km BIKE and 21.1km RUN. They will determine who the swimmer, the cyclist and the runner is when signing up. The race outline for teams is identical as for individuals; they will start in a second wave, some minutes after the individual competitors.
Teams signing up for the Monaco Ironman 70.3 Relay Challenge will benefit from its professionalism and experience organization that includes among other things a quality welcome and liveliness, lot of supplies, an optimal security and massages after the Finish. In addition to the welcoming gift, each Finisher will receive a Finisher Relay Challenge medal, a T-shirt, and a certificate. They also attend the Pasta Party and at the Awards Ceremony: a big Athletes and Voluntaries Party that lasts until the daybreak!
The Monaco Ironman 70.3 Relay Challenge is open to clubs, corporates, associations, friends and families. 300% emotion guaranteed! Three categories will be awarded: Male Team, Female Team and Mixed Team. The Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday evening at the Chapiteau Fontvieille.
