(St. Paul, MN – 5/10/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Jack Clarkson invite the triathletes of the Big Sky and Cowboy States to race at the seventh annual JANET CLARKSON MEMORIAL TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US MONTANA & WYOMING QUALIFIERS at the Madison Arm Resort near West Yellowstone, Montana on June 21.
Montana boasts many talented triathletes. Some of the top men include (alphabetical): Daniel Barry, Jeffrey Cincoski, Evan Eck, Brendan Halpin, Robert Haseman, Dan Heil, Ben Hoffman, Adam Jensen, Stephen Kosnar, Jay Marschall, Dean McGovern (2007 MT Representative), Jeremy Oury (two-time MT BOUS Representative), Matt Shyrock, Todd Struckman, and Bradley Zins. Top women are: Gretchen Cook, Stefanie Fisher, Alison Forney-Gorman, Heidi Fry, Jacqueline Gaertner, Megan Gaskell, Sarah Keller, Andrea Luebbe, Jennifer Luebke, Jennifer Nerison-Morton, Ann Seifert, Kristina Smith (2006 & 2007 MT BOUS Representative), Amy Sprouse, Holly Walker and Jennifer White. The fastest male and female resident amateurs from Montana will receive invitations to represent their state at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe. Arizona. Likewise, the fastest male and female amateur residents from Wyoming will also receive invitations. Top Wyoming triathletes include Angela Concannon, Daisy Fair, Ted Haskell, Dan McIntosh, Drew Purdy, Kristi Ruben, Jake Rushton and Jeff Wilcox (2007 WY Representative).
