(St. Paul, MN – 5/10/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Howard Bich invite the triathletes of the Sunshine State to race at the third annual DAKOTA MAN / BEST OF THE US SOUTH DAKOTA QUALIFIER, a sprint course event at Lake Alvin, south of Sioux Falls on June 21.
The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent South Dakota at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, AZ. Top South Dakotans we hope to see at Lake Alvin on June 21 include former duathlon world champ Kim Fordham-Lien (2007 SD BOUS Representative), Amy Blackstone, Steph Badwound, Kathy Brady (2006 SD BOUS Representative), Sam Dannenbring (2006 & 2007 SD BOUS Representatives), Craig Harrison, Mieke Meyer, Tara Brodkorb, Jason Crisp, Lisa Gustin, Liz Burke, Cathy Diecs, David Farnsworth, Matt Maxon, Mary Fouberg, Gerald Kubiek, Mark Lavin, Kezia Manlove, Justin Manning and Katie Weaver-Jongerius.
