(St. Paul, MN – 8/31/08)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director/Triathlete Jeff Litchfield invite the triathletes of the Granite State to race at the 11th annual YMCA TRIATHLON AT CLOUGH STATE PARK/ BEST OF THE US NEW HAMPSHIRE QUALIFIER, a popular sprint distance race that will be staged in picturesque Weare, NH on Saturday, September 6.
New Hampshire has many fine triathletes. Three stand out above the rest: Bill Reeves of Durham, Molly Zahr and Randy Swormstedt of Laconia. Swormstedt was a top 10 finisher at the 2005 “Best of the US Championship” in Gilford, NH. “Reeves, Zahr and Swormstedt are special athletes. Individually, they could finish in the top five at the Championship. Together they have a legitimate shot at reaching the podium in the Fastest Team Competition,” claims Jerry MacNeil, “Best of the US” PR Director. Other viable representatives include Michel Bradford, Matt Boobar, Vaughn Cooper, Robyn Dolliver, Elizabeth Hall (2007 BOUS Representative), Kate Jackson, Sharon Johnson (2006 BOUS Representative), Kristi Judd, Josh Kahan, Ryan Kelley (2005 BOUS Representative), Benjamin Lange, Michael Lavery, Celeste St. Pierre, Sean Snow, Jennifer Swenson, Kimberly Walsh and Chris Wilhelm.
The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations (and $200 Southwest Airlines gift cards) to represent New Hampshire at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, AZ.
