“We’ve seen increased demand and positive growth every year of this event,” said Gaby Pozo, general manager, ING Miami Marathon & Half Marathon. “This year’s response reflects not only the vitality and vibrancy of the city, but of the community that supports each and every runner at this showcase event.” Adding to the race’s popularity are recent accolades including a selection by USA Today as a “Top Winter Destination Race” and a “Top 10 Races to Run” by Runner’s World magazine. In addition, the 2009 race has been selected as one of the events for Team Prevention Walk It! a training program with Prevention magazine.
