The 5th edition of the Monegasque triathlon promises to be rich in emotions. Taking place this year again, the Relay Challenge will be an event inside the event while the TRIANGLE events company commitment in sustainable development increases, it is now a signatory of the Monaco JCI.
After a summer full in sports, the rock of Monaco will experience an active comeback with the Monaco IRONMAN 70.3 which will take place on Sunday, September 6th. Still using the mythical frame of the Formula 1, the race is a major sports event in the Principality with its international range, the quality of its Expo Village which opens on the Friday before the race and the big show on Sunday, where the spectators look forward an exciting event from 7.00 pm. Swim, Bike and Run will rhythm 8 hours of the race with both professionals and age groups, men and women, trained all year long why not to grab a spot for Hawaii or Clearwater, dreamt destinations.
Same place, same race but a different challenge, the Relay Challenge will also take place on September 6th. The goal? A swimmer, a runner and a cyclist will give them the chip on the same distances for an exciting challenge between friends, office colleagues or sportsmen. The program: a funny way to participate to a big event in your favourite discipline! All combinations are allowed, only one requirement: have pleasure and cross the Finishline with the team spirit!
Team spirit, a key word for the organizers, but not only. They add a stone to the emerging ecological consciousness to sporting values. Last year, they have created the 4VITA® program to support the athletes to be more respectful of their race's environment. They increase this year their involvement by thinking again some sectors upstream the event. Ecology, Economics, Social, all bases were gathered for Triangle to become signatory of the Monaco Charter on Corporate Social Responsibility of Junior Chamber International of Monaco. This is done since 16 April 2009, and the team led by Olivier Castelli and Georg Hochegger is well decided to show the example through real actions.
