NEW YORK - (September 30, 2009) - Foot Locker has announced that Saucony, Inc. has become the official sponsor for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships (FLCCC), the nation's premier high school championships for cross country runners.

Entering its 31st year, the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships is the longest running cross country race in the nation, comprised of four regional 5K races - in the Northeast (Kings Park, N.Y.), Midwest (Kenosha, Wis.), South (Charlotte, N.C.) held on November 28 and West (Walnut, Calif.) on December 5, with the National Championships in San Diego, Calif. on Saturday, December 12. More than 10,000 of the nation's leading high school runners are expected to compete in the regional meets this year.

"We are thrilled to welcome Saucony to the FLCCC family," said Jeanine Zocks, vice president of sports marketing. "Saucony has an excellent reputation and the highest quality apparel and footwear. We are proud to have them on our team."

Saucony will provide the official uniforms, clothing and shoes at the National Finals. In addition, Saucony will design the official souvenir merchandise, available for sale at all five events, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and gloves.
