Madison, CT - Sean Mueller, a member of REVO2LT Running Team(TM) and a
junior at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, Connecticut, won the
Southern Connecticut Conference Cross Country Championships on October 22
in Hammonasett Park. Sean cruised the 5-kilometer course in a cross
country personal best time of 15:51, 27 seconds faster than he ran at
last year's SCC Championships on the same course. Sean led his team to
a third place finish.
"Sean ran a great race, holding off some of the best runners in the state,"
said his coach, Dr. Jason Karp. "He took control of the race and made
the other runners chase him, which is a very mature move for someone his
age."
Sean Mueller runs the Connecticut Interscholastic Association Class LL
Championships on October 31, followed by the Connecticut State
Championships on November 6, both held at Wickham Park in East Hartford,
CT. For complete results of the Southern Connecticut Conference Cross
