Runner's & Triathlete's Web  Athletics: Universal Sports LIVE Marathon Coverage on Sunday, March 21

Marathon Season is kicking off this weekend as Universal Sports has LIVE coverage this Sunday of the NYC Half Marathon and LA Marathon. NYC Half Marathon brings together some of the great Marathon runners in preparation for the spring Marathon Season. Haile Gebrselassie and Deena Kastor look to lead the Elite Men and Women through the streets of New York City. Coverage begins on the Universal Sports Network at 7:30am EDT.

Then an hour after the conclusion of the Half Marathon, Universal Sports will be broadcasting the 25th running of the LA Marathon. Please note: KTLA will have live TV coverage in the Los Angeles DMA and Universal Sports will have live coverage everywhere else. This year, the route will take 25,000 competitors from Dodger Stadium to the beaches of Santa Monica. This course will be extremely fast.
