Runner's & Triathlete's Web  Athletics: William A. Irvin 5K Registration Closed

(Duluth, Minn.) Registration for the 17th annual William A. Irvin 5K is now closed, Grandma's Marathon announced today. The 3.1-mile race, scheduled for Friday, June 18 at 6 p.m., reached its 1,500-person limit less than one week after registration began on March 17.

The William A. Irvin 5K starts and finishes alongside the permanently docked William A. Irvin ore boat near the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The event is the first of three road races during Grandma's Marathon weekend. Registration remains open for Grandma's Marathon, while registration is closed for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. Both races are set for Saturday, June 19.
