Runner's & Triathlete's Web  Triathlon: Wellington to return to Quelle Challenge Roth

Triathlon superstar Chrissie Wellington will return to defend her title at the ninth running of the Quelle Challenge Roth, the world's largest long-course triathlon, on July 18 in the German hamlet of Roth. The three-time Ironman world champion will headline a top-class field to be announced soon.

In her debut in Roth last year, the amazing Brit lowered the world's best time for women over the distance (3.8km swim/180km bike/42.2km run) to an incredible 8:31:59. She shattered the record of 8:45:48 set just a year earlier, also on the Roth course, by Dutch star Yvonne van Vlerken.
