Runner's & Triathlete's Web  Triathlon: Best of the US Triathlon Series Debuts at Great Clermont Triathlon

Great Clermont Triathlon kicked off the Best of the U.S. series Sunday. For the second year in a row, 19-year-old Nick Tautiva is the first qualifying resident amateur for Florida. He'll be joined at the Championship with first-place female Seeley Guiterrez from Tallahassee, who is 34.

For the first time, this year 2nd and 3rd place have also received an automatic invitation to race at the Championship, in Wave 2, in which they will still compete for overall place, and for Fastest State Team awards.
