Runners, Act Fast Before It's Too Late
Chicago, IL -- September 8, 2010 -- The14th Annual Chicago Half-Marathon & 5k is quickly approaching sell out. Last year's race sold out with 20,000 runners.
"The Chicago Half Marathon selling out for the 2nd consecutive year is yet another testament to the Chicago running community," says Race Director Jeff Graves. "We're excited with the popularity of the event and look forward to serving the runners with a great race this year."
On September 12, 2010, runners will hit the scenic Chicago streets, starting and ending in Jackson Park. Runners will enjoy a beautiful half-marathon course along Lake Shore Drive, with stunning views of the iconic Chicago skyline. The course features entertainment from more than 15 different groups and the benefit of Gatorade Endurance aide stations.
