Four events - Bloomington-Minneapolis, Nashville, Scottsdale-Tempe and St. Petersburg - expect to draw more than 25,000 in 2012
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - (January 11, 2012) - The Women's Half Marathon has announced Lady Speed Stick® Antiperspirant / Deodorant as the title sponsor for the 2012 Women's Half Marathon Series, America's largest and most popular women's half-marathon series.

The 2012 Lady Speed Stick® Women's Half Marathon Series consists of four events: Bloomington-Minneapolis, MN (August 26), Nashville, TN (September 22), Scottsdale-Tempe, AZ (November 4) and St. Petersburg, FL (November 18). The series, along with a companion 5K, should host more than 25,000 runners and walkers this year.

The Lady Speed Stick® Women's Half Marathon Series awards all half-marathon finishers an industry-first, patent-pending, two-in-one medal and charm. Finishers will also receive a designer goodie bag and tech tee. All events in the series begin with a two-day, women-specific health and fitness expo and finish with an outdoor party complete with food, music and white linen tablecloths.
