Half Marathon and Five-Person Relay Spots Available, Limited
Akron, Ohio (August 16, 2012) -- The Akron Marathon's headlining event, the Full Marathon, has sold out. A limited number of spaces remain for the Half Marathon, presented by Acme Fresh Markets, and the Five-Person Team Relay, presented by Novo Nordisk.
Half Marathon and Team Relay hopefuls are encouraged to register online today at AkronMarathon.org to secure their space in the 10th annual running of the Akron Marathon, presented by Time Warner Cable.
"Community support for the Akron Marathon has continued to grow year after year," said Jim Barnett, executive race director. "We're humbled to have such a loyal base of participants. We couldn't hold such a successful event in any city other than Akron."
