St. Paul, Minn. -- (January 24, 2013) --Twin Cities In Motion (TCM), the nonprofit organization that hosts the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and an array of Twin Cities-based running events for adults and children, named two new members to its Board of Directors this month.
Joining TCM's 16-member board are Barry Gisser, Managing Partner of Marathon Investment Group of Minneapolis, and Eric Raarup, the Chief Marketing Technology Officer for Minneapolis-based Avtex.
Gisser, who co-founded Marathon Investment Group, a consulting and asset management firm, is a former Chief Operating Officer of Bellisio Foods, and also held senior level finance roles at ConAgra Foods, Ecolab and Procter & Gamble. Gisser earned a Bachelor of Arts at Kenyon College and a Masters in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Raarup, who served Avtex as a Senior Vice President of Technology and Marketing prior to his current position, has been with the customer experience solutions provider since 1999. Raarup earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Colorado College.
Gisser and Raarup replace Bryan Fuhr and Scott Ross on the TCM Board.

The TCM Board defines strategy and guides the financial health of the organization which hosts running events year-round in the Twin Cities.
