Athletics: Wells Fargo and Corrigan Sports Agree to Multi-Event Deal

Wells Fargo will serve as the official bank of the 2013 Frederick and St. Charles Running Festivals

BALTIMORE, Md. - Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced that Wells Fargo will serve as the official bank of the 2013 Frederick and St. Charles Running Festivals. Wells Fargo will also take on the role of title sponsor of the two-person team relay distance for the Sunday, May 5th Frederick Running Festival.

Lee Corrigan, President of CSE, said, "These two events are a great match for Wells Fargo. This partnership grants them state-wide exposure as they expand their already significant footprint in Maryland."

"Wells Fargo is proud to sponsor the Frederick and St. Charles Running Festivals," said Andy Bertamini, Wells Fargo's Regional President for Maryland. "At Wells Fargo, community involvement is not just a nice thing to do. Nor is it something we do because we're expected to do it. We do it because it's central to our vision. We do it because it's the way we do business. We cannot satisfy all our customers' financial needs and help them succeed financially if we ignore the long-term economic well-being of the communities in which our customers and team members live.

The 11th CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Frederick Running Festival will attract 8,000 participants. The third annual St. Charles Running Festival will take place on Saturday, April 13th outside of Regency Furniture Stadium and include 10-mile, 5K and Kids Fun Run distances.
