Canada Games: The Canada Games Announce Sage as National Partner

(June 13, 2013) Ottawa -- The Canada Games Council (CGC) announced today that they are thrilled to welcome Sage as their newest National Partner.

With this announcement, Sage -- a world-leading supplier of accounting and business management software to start-up, small, and midsized businesses, including the Canadian-developed Sage 50 Accounting--Canadian Edition and Sage 300 ERP lines -- will become an official Canada Games National Partner until the end of the 2015 calendar year.

‘‘The Canada Games Council is thrilled to be in association with such a globally well-respected company as Sage,’’ said Tom Quinn, Chairman of the Canada Games Council. ‘‘The software expertise in accounting and business management that Sage provides will benefit current and future Host Societies as well as become a key delivery mechanism for templates and transfer of knowledge tools.’’

As the Canada Games Council works to provide the tools, resources and partners necessary to streamline the important work of each Host Society, Sage resources will become essential to each edition of the Games as the partnership grows. Sage is providing solutions to the 2013 Canada Games taking place this summer in Sherbrooke, Quebec and, with this announcement, will also be engaged with the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, British Columbia.

Sage solutions, including Sage 300 ERP and Sage CRM, will provide great resources for organizing committees in areas including accounting, contact and customer relationship management, human resources, and warehouse management.

The announcement comes at an important time when the Canada Games Council and the Prince George 2015 Canada Winter Games are celebrating individual Games partners, but also leveraging sponsorships longer-term and building multiple Games partnerships. Today more than ever, new opportunities exist for sponsors wishing to engage long-term.
