Athletics: Registration Set to Open for 36th Annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon

Six Additional Twin Cities In Motion Events also Open Thursday, February 2

St. Paul, Minn.: February 1, 2017 - Registration for the 36th annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and six additional running events hosted by Twin Cities In Motion will open on Tuesday, February 2 at 10:00 a.m. CST. The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, which will run from downtown Minneapolis to the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul on Sunday, October 1, will be limited to 11,500 participants.

Twin Cities In Motion will also open registration for three other Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend events: the Medtronic TC Family Events, TC 5K, presented by Fredrikson & Byron, and TC 10K which take place at the State Capitol grounds on Saturday, September 30.

Twin Cities In Motion will also open registration for the Medtronic TC 1 Mile, held on the downtown Minneapolis riverfront on Thursday, May 11, the TC Kids Cross Country Fun Run, held Saturday, May 20 at Como Park in St. Paul, and the Red, White & Boom! TC Half Marathon, Relay & 5K, held in Minneapolis on Tuesday, July 4.

Registration for all of the events will be conducted online through the Twin Cities In Motion website, TCMEvents.org. The registration drawing for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile, held October 1, will open on July 7. The field for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile will be expanded to 12,500 participants.
