Athletics: Dallas Marathon Festival Announces Four-Year Title Partnership Extension with BMW & DFW BMW Dealers

Registration is now open for the 2023 BMW Dallas Marathon Festival with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Half Marathon and new walking-only events

(DALLAS) – The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with the Dallas-Fort Worth Area BMW Centers as title sponsor through 2027. BMW has been the proud title sponsor of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival since 2016, and this new agreement ensures their continued title partnership for a total of 12 years.

“We are thrilled to announce that we have extended our title sponsorship with the Dallas-Fort Worth Area BMW Centers. They have been a tremendous partner to the marathon festival, and we are looking forward to expanding our partnership over the next four years,” said Paul Lambert, president of runDallas, the BMW Dallas Marathon’s parent organization.

The extension of this partnership will include direct funding from the Dallas-Fort Worth Area BMW Centers to runDallas, as well as the Festival’s beneficiary Scottish Rite for Children. Since the Dallas-Fort Worth Area BMW Centers became title partner, the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival weekend of events has expanded from three events to 12 events over three days, offering a wide range of event distances (running and walking) to appeal to every member of the family.

“Scottish Rite for Children thanks the Dallas-Fort Worth Area BMW Centers for their commitment to our mission over the past eight years, as well as their steadfast support into the future,” said Robert L. Walker, president/CEO of Scottish Rite for Children. “Our relationship with BMW and runDallas is highly valued, and we are grateful for their kindness and generosity, which brings life-changing care to our patients and their families.”

“It has been moving to witness the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival grow year after year in the Dallas Fort Worth area which is why we are excited to announce the extension of our partnership with the runDallas organization. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to support Scottish Rite for Children and the dedication they have in healing their patients and supporting their families along the way.” Said Curtis Snyder, Regional Marketing Manager of BMW of North America. “We are committed to strengthening our partnership with both runDallas and Scottish Rite for Children to provide an exceptional experience for everyone in the community.”
